Principal Certification Engineer

Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Certification Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role, providing an excellent opportunity to take on significant responsibilities within the field of Part 21 certification.

• Overseeing and managing Part 21 certification projects
• Ensuring all certification processes comply with regulatory requirements
• Preparing and reviewing certification documentation and reports
• Developing and mentoring junior certification engineers
• Collaborating with internal teams and external regulatory bodies
• Leading audits and assessments to maintain certification standards
• Identifying and implementing process improvements
• Providing expert guidance on airworthiness matters

• Extensive experience in aerospace certification, particularly with Part 21
• Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations and certification processes
• Proven ability to take on a leadership role within certification projects
• Experience in preparing and reviewing technical documentation
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
• A relevant degree in aerospace engineering or a related field
