Electrical Engineering — AI Data Trainer About The Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting‑edge AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to signal processing to control systems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your hours, work independently, and contribute to some of the most advanced AI research happening today.
- Organization:
Alignerr - Type:
Hourly Contract - Location:
Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and embedded systems to probe AI reasoning and expose its limits.
- Author Gold‑Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step‑by‑step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation.
- Audit Technical Accuracy — Review AI‑generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and code for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
- Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps and flawed reasoning in AI outputs, then provide structured, expert feedback to guide model improvement.
- Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core domains: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing
- Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
- Exceptionally detail‑oriented when working with equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
- No prior AI experience required — your engineering expertise is what matters
- Prior experience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE, etc.)
- Background in standards compliance or engineering documentation
- Work on genuinely cutting‑edge AI projects alongside world‑leading research teams
- Fully remote and asynchronous — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance flexibility: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
- Gain rare insight into how advanced large language models are built and trained
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
