Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia, is now accepting applications for a Paraprofessional - Instructional position that is available at Eastern Montgomery Elementary School for the  school year.

The paraprofessional - Instructional assists teachers in presenting and reinforcing instructional objectives by working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill level expected of the class.

• Completion of an associate degree or 48 semester hours of college or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment Exam
• Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn to operate and maintain a wide variety of instructional equipment
• Candidates should possess excellent reading, writing, and computation skills
• Demonstrated personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to be dependable and punctual
• Have experience in fostering an inclusive learning environment

Non-exempt

$24,175.21 - $38,853.34 annually; with benefits; commensurate with experience and pro-rated to start date
