Three Shifts Available- AM – Mon–Fri, 6:30 a–3:00 p, $15.00 /hr
- PM – Mon–Fri, 1:30 p–10:00 p, $16.85 /hr
- Our shifts are NOT flexible, meaning if you are unable to work the entire shift, we are unable to hire you.
OvertimeOccasionally, overtime may be required to support operational demands. This typically happens in the fall, and when this happens, overtime is typically scheduled as follows:
- AM Shift: May begin up to 1 hour earlier than the standard start time
- PM Shift: May extend up to 1 hour beyond the usual end time
- Weekend Shift: May include an additional day, as shifts are already 10–12 hours
Please note that all scheduling, including overtime, is subject to change based on business needs and volume fluctuations. We appreciate your flexibility and commitment in helping us meet customer expectations.
Blackout Dates & Holiday InformationOur warehouse will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day; and we typically work shorter hours on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. To support our busiest season, our Backcountry fulfillment centers have a blackout period for time off requests. The blackout period is typically from November 10th through December 23rd. During this blackout period, time off requests cannot be approved.
ESSENTIALDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stand and walk for your entire shift
- Read and audit labels
- Identify, count, and sort packages and inventory with a high level of accuracy
- Understand and differentiate between shipping methods and sort packages accordingly
- Use automated packaging equipment
- Participate in team meetings, follow guidance, and provide feedback as appropriate
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Fix problems that occur to ensure inventory and/or shipping accuracy
- Resolve inventory issues by adjusting inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Participate in LEAN initiatives
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalency
- Verbal and written comprehension of the English language required
- Fundamental math skills required
- Must be able to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames
- Computer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email required
- Experience operating power industrial equipment (for example, standing order picker or forklift)
