Retail Scan Associate (Chubbuck, )

This is a permanent PART-TIME role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

• Visit designated local retailers weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in-aisle locations, including end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout the store.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store; this work occurs weekly and can take several hours.
• Provide quantity data for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver quality data to clients; participate in occasional Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store.
• Report to the store within the described deadline and maintain workplace independence with some flexibility in hours.

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Work with grocery, convenience, drug, pet, mass merchandise, and other retail formats for major brand retailers and independents.
• Operate in a role that offers independence in the workplace with some scheduling flexibility and continuous physical activity during shifts.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; reach up to 6 feet; bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech-savvy; high school diploma or GED (preferred).
