Part-time Position

Pay:
$25 - $30 per class (Instructors)
Administrative tasks compensated at $12-$15/hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible STEAM & Robotics Instructor to teach Snapology programs while also assisting with light administrative tasks. This role requires travel throughout our franchise territory, so reliable transportation and flexibility are essential. The Lead Instructor will play a key role in launching new programs and events, requiring flexibility and strong availability.

This position is ideal for aspiring educators, substitute teachers, college students in education fields, or individuals looking for rewarding, flexible teaching work

• Teach engaging Snapology STEAM programs for children (ages 2-14).
• Travel to various locations within 91913, 91914, and 91915 to run classes, camps, and events.
• Organize and maintain class materials, ensuring kits are prepared for future sessions.
• Coordinate schedules with other part-time instructors.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Snapology leadership.
• Promote Snapology programs to encourage repeat enrollments.

Demonstrated reliability and initiative may lead to additional opportunities and compensation increases.

• 2+ years of experience teaching or working with children.
• Criminal & Child Clearances (must be current).
• Teaching degree or relevant experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage class materials.
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel within our franchise area.

• Hours are flexible and vary weekly.
• Must be willing to accept most available class assignments.
• Ideal candidates should have consistent availability for at least six months and be open to expanding their role as Snapology grows.
• After-school classes:
  Mon-Fri, 2:30-5:00 PM.
• Evening classes:
  Mon-Fri, 5:00-8:00 PM.
• Camps:
  Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM (seasonal).
• Birthday parties & events:
  Weekends, various times.
