The Director of Nursing (DON) organizes and administers areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility objectives established by hospital administration. Hospital‑wide programs, policies, and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate, and meet patient needs.

• Develops and implements hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to patients requiring care.
• The DON participates with management, medical staff, and clinical leaders in the facility’s decision‑making structures and processes.
• The DON implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment, and services delivered to patients.

Education and Work Experience
