• Required qualifications
• Active California RN license
• At least 3 years of recent RN experience
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a specialty area
• CPR certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• AWHONN certification

• Advanced or Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification

  Preferred qualification

• NURCREEFM certification (as listed in the posting; confirm the exact credential with the recruiter)

  Key responsibilities
• Perform individualized patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Provide safe, therapeutic, age-appropriate nursing care.
• Educate patients and families and evaluate their understanding.
• Advocate for patients and families in care decisions.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient education.
• Delegate appropriate tasks within team members' scope of practice.
• Identify complex or high-risk situations and seek additional resources when needed.
