Supervisor - Retail

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the management team in the daily operations of the store. Daily duties include some management functions, opening/closing the store, overseeing production/retail operations, and ensuring staff follows all policies and procedures.

Skills and Abilities:

Education: High School Graduate or GED preferred.

Experience: One year of supervisory experience; retail experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, email, internet use, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Certificates & Licenses: A valid CA Driver’s License, a driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance requirements, and a reliable insured vehicle are preferred.

Other Requirements: Ability to operate an electronic cash register. Understanding of basic retail principles such as stocking, merchandise flow, quotas, cash handling, bank deposits, and sales reports. Ability to perform simple arithmetic and to read and understand sales reports.
