Supported Living Coach

As a Supported Living Coach, you play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will help them develop skills for independent living while ensuring they feel supported and valued in their community.

• - Provide direct support to individuals in their homes and community settings.
• - Assist clients in developing and achieving personal goals related to daily living skills.
• - Facilitate social and recreational activities that promote community involvement.
• - Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to implement individualized support plans.
• - Monitor and document client progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
• - Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community.
• - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

• - Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred.
• - Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• - Patience and empathy when working with individuals with diverse needs.
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• - Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client needs.

• - Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• - Knowledge of community resources and support services.
• - Experience with behavior management techniques.
• - Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
