Job Description

Drive and deliver food products to customers while ensuring timely and accurate service. Oversee stocking, inventory, equipment cleaning and customer interactions.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car to customers, dropping off flyers and door hangers.

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards. Access to an insured vehicle for use during deliveries. Must pass a background check and have open availability.

Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person, and to train and lead.

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used). Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination: rapid and accurate movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch‑screen.
• Maintain cost controls.
• Navigate maps, locate addresses within the delivery area and deal with adverse terrain.

Exposure to varying weather conditions, in‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some work areas, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing and pulling, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, stooping and reaching. Tasks require eye‑hand coordination and use of hands continuously.
