The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, assessing pupil progress effectively, and creating a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported and challenged. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be able to adapt teaching to ensure all children, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils, make excellent progress.

The class teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for pupils and contribute fully to the wider life of the school. They will uphold the school's values, maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and foster a love of learning through a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum.

We are looking for someone who could start after from the 2nd November with a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027, with the view to extend.

Salary Details: £32,916-£45,352 Dependent on Experience

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 (or be an outstanding ECT).
• Have excellent classroom management skills.
• Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective assessment practices.
• Be passionate about children’s learning and development.
• Be committed to inclusion and high achievement for all pupils.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Share and promote the school's vision and values.
