JOB DESCRIPTION
Hours of work: 12.5 hours per week Working pattern:
Part-time, Term-time only working for
39weeks per year plus
5.85weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service. As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Could you inspire and engage children in learning a language? Could you cover classes for periods to enable teachers to plan, prepare and lead their specialist areas?
We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to deliver Spanish lessons to eager Key Stage 2 children in our lovely school as well as, on occasions, covering classes so staff can be released for their professional development. You would need to have a lovely but firm manner with children, work well with colleagues and be flexible. We can offer you great support from colleagues, opportunities to build your skills and delightful children, all working together in the heart of Lewes.
Working Hours:
Thursday and Fridays - with a potential for more hours, term-time only.
We hope to start this role in September 2026.
