Salary: £17,640 - £17,917pa (a pay award is pending)

Contract Type: Fixed term initially to 21.7.27 with the possibility of extending in the future

Working Pattern: Term Time only. Monday
- Friday inclusive 8:30am-3:15 pm

Location: St Mary's Church of England Primary School Horsham

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support children with a high level of need in EYFS and Year 1 both in and out of the classroom.

The role includes:
  • Providing classroom support alongside the teacher
  • Delivering Interventions
  • Helping children to achieve their full potential academically and socially

You will will work closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Leader as part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to ensuring every child thrives.

  • This role is term time only, The hours of work are Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:15pm

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to:

-

  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to work in a team
  • Have interpersonal skills at all levels including with children, parents and staff
  • Be a ble to cope with physical and mental demands of the job
  • Demonstrate patience, good judgement and common sense

Previous experience working with children, especially in early years and previous experience (personal or professional) of children with autism would be advantageous.
