Head of Subject (Modern Foreign Languages) - TLR 2c

The Directors are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of MFL with the enthusiasm, skills and knowledge to be the Head of Subject and the ability to lead the department through its next stage of development. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake the strategic responsibilities of the post and would suit those with a proven track record of outstanding student progress alongside an understanding of how to effectively raise standards in an already high performing department.

Candidates with Spanish as their main language are strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will have:

  • excellent teaching and organisation skills
  • drive, high expectations and a commitment to excellence for all
  • total commitment to safeguarding children
  • experience of implementing evidence based approaches in the classroom
  • proven experience in managing people and resources

The closing date is 12:00 noon on Wednesday 14th October 2026. Interviews will be held the following week.
