Teaching Assistant – Level 2, Walkwood Church of England Middle School

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- Demonstrates the ability to provide efficient and effective support to pupils and staff through a fully inclusive approach
- Assesses and reports on pupils’ development, progress and attainment
- Provides effective pastoral care and understands all pupils
- Is proactive, flexible and works effectively as part of a team
- Has excellent communication skills with pupils and all stakeholders

- Has GCSE passes in Maths and English (4+)

Previous experience is desirable for this role, although not essential. Experience of working with children with autism and other additional needs is desirable or at least a willingness to gain experience, together with GCSE passes in Maths and English (C/4+) or equivalent.

08:45am – 3:30pm - Salary: £25,583 – £25,989 p.a. pro rata

We require an enhanced DBS check and full references. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016); spoken English fluency is essential.
