Teaching Assistant / Mid‑Day Supervisor (Part‑time, Term‑time only)

Hours of work: 31.25 hours per week, split between a Teaching Assistant (26.25 h) and Mid‑Day Supervisor (5 h). Working pattern:
Part‑time, Term‑time only (39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, increasing after 5 years continuous service). Salary (pro‑rata) is £25 185–25 583 for TA and £24 413 for MDSA, plus holiday allowance.

• Support teachers across the school.
• Work with pupils in small groups or individually.
• Monday‑Friday term‑time hours: TA 8:30–11:30 & 13:00–15:15 (26.25 hrs pw), 15‑minute staff briefing; MDSA 12:00–13:00 (5 hrs pw).

• NVQ Level 1 or above for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent).
• Sound knowledge and previous experience working with children.
• Training can be provided.
• Must be able to demonstrate no disqualification under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018 via self‑declaration.
