Family Care Center (FCC) was founded in 2016 with a mission to improve access to mental health care in the local community. FCC brings together high-quality providers—psychiatrists, psychologists, marital therapists, family therapists, licensed professional counselors, and child therapists—to work as a team and help individuals and families grow and thrive.

The Psychiatrist provides therapy and/or medication management to identify, diagnose, and treat patients under their care.

• Provide clinical services at or above customary practice standards and within physician qualifications, adhering to the American Medical Association’s ethics and all recognized specialty associations.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments using the bio‑psycho‑social model through discussion, observation, and analysis.
• Identify psychiatric conditions according to the DSM‑5.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans through multidisciplinary collaboration with therapists and other professionals.
• Initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatments.
• Order and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic test results.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals when hospitalization is required.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families when clinically appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with medical assistants to streamline clinical workflow and optimize the patient’s experience of care.

• MD or DO required.
• ACGME‑accredited residency training program in psychiatry preferred.
• Current medical license in state of practice.
• Current and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration in the state of practice.
• Certification from the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS).
