Join Legacy Traditional Schools as a Permanent Substitute Teacher and change lives through education.
We are looking for dedicated educators who can serve in a variety of teaching positions across diversified subjects such as Spalding Reading and Writing, Science, Social Studies, and EnVision Math.
Responsibilities- Create a classroom and safe environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students and allows them to perform at their very best.
- Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide our students through a variety of activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth needed for primary school success.
- Explore individual needs and provide side‑by‑side support to discover how each student learns best and develop personalized solutions.
- Master our proven curriculum and implement our philosophy of education, guiding the learning process toward the achievement of the curriculum goals using a variety of best practices and teaching strategies.
- Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior, good character and social skills in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.
- Evaluate and celebrate student academic performance and share progress with parents/guardians, ensuring support staff are set up for success to support the students.
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in education, a current substitute teaching certificate from the state, and pass a criminal history background check.
- Displaying positive, powerful energy that fuels our school spirit and demonstrates our values, inspiring others and having fun.
- Being active in the role – light lifting, sitting, standing, moving throughout the campus and traveling to other campuses as required.
- Depending on the state to which you apply, meeting background check requirements as required.
