About the Unit:

• 20 bed Medical ICU
• Patient to Nurse ratio 2:1
• Cares for a variety of complex patients to include: sepsis, DKA, stroke/seizures, liver and renal disease, respiratory failure, etc
• Unit offers individualized orientation with dedicated preceptors and specialized classes
• Doctors are invested in the staff and provide educational offerings to increase knowledge base
• Our nurses take pride in what they do and focus on their WHY every day to provide exceptional care

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
• You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
