Childrens Coach​/Youth Trainer

Overview

Kid Strong Cibolo is looking for amazing coaches with an athletic or coaching background to work with children ages walking through 11 years old. Classes run weekdays mid-mornings and evenings from 3:30pm–7:30pm. Weekends start at 8:00am and run through lunchtime. There is a flexible work schedule depending on center needs and an opportunity to add camp coaching hours. This is a part-time position that is projected to start at the beginning of September.

You must have both weeknight and weekend availability, with one weekend day required.

• Coach classes for 6 to 15 children, ages from walking to 11 years old, in an athletic or coaching environment
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by HQ
• Maintain and clean center equipment and floor
• Record class data and provide records for parents (attendance, awards, etc.) using the KS Coach’s App
• Communicate professionally with coworkers in Slack and check messages when not in centers
• Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and student safety
• Assist parents of younger students with class direction and flow
• Attend monthly center staff meetings to receive training for upcoming curriculum
• Maintain center cleanliness (lobby, bathrooms, floors) and sanitize mats at the end of shifts
• Move equipment as needed and handle up to 25 pounds
• CPR certification and knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• High energy, positive attitude, and strong customer service mindset

• Experience coaching kids from walking age to 11 years old in athletic or coaching settings
• Experience talking with and educating parents
• CPR certified

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour

Kid Strong is a private child development training center focusing on brain, physical and character development for ages walking through 11 years old. It offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals. Kid Strong has grown since 2016 with multiple locations and is expanding in the San Antonio area.
