Kid Strong Cibolo is looking for amazing coaches! If you enjoy working with children, making children smarter & stronger, and working with an amazing team, then let’s talk!

We are seeking coaches with an athletic or coaching background, experience coaching kids ages walking through 11 years old, or pediatric OT/PT experience. Our classes run weekdays, mid-mornings, and evenings from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. On weekends, classes start at 8 AM and run through lunchtime. There is an opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on center needs, and the possibility to add camp coaching hours.

This is a part-time position. Both weeknight and weekend availability are required, with at least one weekend day. This position is projected to start at the beginning of September.

What is Kid Strong?

Kid Strong is a private child development training center focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character Development for children from walking age through 11 years old. Kid Strong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.

Since 2016, Kid Strong has been expanding and now has multiple locations across the country. As we grow, we foster a dynamic culture with growth potential, including plans to open 3-5 centers in the San Antonio area.

  • Maintain and clean center equipment and floors
  • Have experience coaching children from walking age to 11 years old in athletic or coaching environments

  • Possess intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
  • Be CPR certified
  • Have positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Be a self-starter who gets the job done
  • Value outstanding customer service and membership experience, treating members like family
  • Be able to coach classes of 6 to 15 children across age groups from roughly 12 months to 11 years old
  • Teach the Kid Strong curriculum provided by HQ
  • Ensure cleanliness of the center, including lobby, bathrooms, and floors, by taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping equipment, and sanitizing mats at the end of shifts
  • Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
  • Communicate professionally with team members via Slack and check messages periodically
  • Be able to work in a physically intensive environment, covering multiple miles in a shift, lifting, and moving equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Be comfortable working hands-on with children to ensure proper technique and safety
  • Assist parents of children aged three and younger with class flow and guidance
  • Attend monthly staff meetings for training on curriculum updates
