Finance And Accounting​/Assistant

About the role PT Matsumotoyushi Indonesia is seeking a Finance and Accounting Staff/Assistant to join our growing finance team in Kawasan industri Jababeka
- Cikarang Utara-Kabupaten Bekasi, West Java. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise within a dynamic chemical manufacturing organisation. You will provide essential support to our finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts ledgers and financial records

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Supporting the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

Assisting with tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements

Filing and organising financial documentation in accordance with company procedures

Performing general administrative duties related to the finance department

What we're looking for

A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred)

Hold Tax Certification (Brevet)

(Male/Female)

Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Finance Clerk or similar accounting role (1-2 years minimum)

Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Understanding of taxation and accounting systems

Familiar with the coretax anda Exim system

Ability to work as a team, hardworking and have good communication skills

Good communication skills in English (written and spoken), Japanese Language (passive) is a plus

Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and accounting standards is advantageous

A reliable and conscientious approach to work with a commitment to confidentiality
