Purpose of the Role
Responsible for managing technical adaptation and supporting manufacturing processes for MV/LV equipment, managing and preparing equipment for surveillance test, ensuring product quality compliance, and providing mechanical design and simulation support for localization, productivity, and QVE initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage technical aspects of local adaptation for MV/LV equipment
- Ensure and manage equipment availability for surveillance test
- Ensure product quality conforms to specifications and standards
- Design and modify mechanical parts for MV/LV equipment
- Perform 3D simulations for problem analysis, productivity improvement, localization, and QVE
- Assist in parts and components qualification related to mechanical properties
- Prepare mechanical drawings (new, modified, standardized, unfolded) for MV/LV panels
- Support configuration tool preparation and updates in Excel format or advance format
- Calculate busbar and metallic parts for cost estimation and offering tools
- Assist in prototype assembly, LIS checks, and production line troubleshooting
- Provide technical solutions for customer complaints and ensure corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements (including RoHS)
- Manage BOM database: download PDM BOM, perform Make-or-Buy analysis, and upload to One Shuttle
- Support stakeholders (Purchasing, SCM) with drawing requests and standard part downloads from PDM
- Ensure smooth technical management of product evolution (PEP), AN, and MCN
- Guarantee equipment quality and compliance with standards and customer requirements
- Drive localization and productivity improvements through design and simulation
- Maintain accurate BOM and drawing databases to support manufacturing and procurement processes
- Active diploma/bachelor's degree student (max. 8th semester), from Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Available to intern for 6 months minimum.
- Technical
Skills:- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of MV/LV equipment design and mechanical properties and related IEC Standards
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Strong Excel skills for offering tool updates and cost calculations
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
- Other Requirements:
- Understanding of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards (RoHS compliance)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
