About the role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager (Flexible Packaging Manufacture) to join our operations team at our facility in North Cikarang, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and systems. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance operations, minimising downtime, and ensuring that all production equipment operates at peak efficiency.

This role is central to our commitment to delivering consistent quality and meeting production targets whilst maintaining a safe working environment.

Develop, implement and oversee comprehensive maintenance strategies and preventative maintenance programmes for all manufacturing equipment and systems

Lead, supervise and mentor the maintenance team, including technicians and support staff, to ensure high standards of performance and safety

Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimise production downtime and ensure continuity of operations

Conduct regular equipment inspections and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to maintain optimal performance

Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of spare parts and equipment, and control costs without compromising quality or safety

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment history and performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate with production teams to prioritise maintenance needs and coordinate maintenance schedules with production requirements

Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices across all maintenance operations

Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, modernisation and efficiency improvements

Report on maintenance performance metrics, including equipment uptime, maintenance costs and key performance indicators

Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within flexible packaging manufacturing or similar industrial manufacturing environments

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems used in packaging machinery and equipment

Proven leadership experience managing and developing maintenance teams of varying sizes

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions

Proficiency in maintenance management systems and computerised maintenance software

Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and predictive maintenance techniques

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control maintenance costs effectively

Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond promptly to equipment emergencies

A relevant technical qualification such as a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational qualification is preferred

Fluency in Indonesian and English is essential
