Color and Material Asst. Manager - (Manufacture) Cikarang (B-127750)
Our client is a Apparels Company. Currently, they are looking for Color & Material Assistant Manager.
Job Responsibilities:- Act in accordance with company policies, customer codes of conduct, confidentiality agreements, and company rules, while undertaking additional reasonable duties aligned with role capabilities and management direction.
- Oversee inspection, testing, approval, and documentation of raw materials, master batches, and colorants to ensure compliance with specifications, color standards, and customer requirements, including supplier corrective actions.
- Manage technical operations for mixing, extrusion, color preparation, crushing, and recycling by ensuring SOP adherence, accurate weighing and dosing, equipment calibration, and process stability.
- Plan and execute material and color trials with R&D and production, evaluate material behavior and color conformity, maintain formulation databases, and provide technical recommendations for new materials or suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing material handling processes, reducing waste and contamination risks, implementing KPIs and visual management, and supporting automation or digital tracking systems.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate material handling personnel, assign tasks based on skill levels, ensure shift coverage, and conduct training on SOPs, material safety, and color preparation techniques.
- Analyze material usage, scrap, OEE impact, and costs to support reporting and budgeting, resolve material-related quality or supply issues through cross‑functional coordination, and ensure consistent 6S audits and corrective actions.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Business English proficiency (can do technical discussion).
- Min. 3 years as Color Material Supervisor in manufacturing industry, experienced in manufacturing industry, experienced and advanced in plastic materials and processing, HSE Management system HIRA (hazard identification & risk assessment), quality control principles, and training & coaching.
- Experienced in ERP & MES system, and MS Office.
- Advanced knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skill, and leadership skill.
