Assistant SHE Manager Home Care – Cikarang Factory
Job PurposeThe Assistant Manager for Safety, Health and Environment is responsible for the review, approval and enforcement of all safety procedures, training and metrics reporting. All duties and responsibilities, listed herein, are under the direction of the Manager of SHE. Develop and implement best practice procedures, develop and report key performance indicators and enforce all safety regulations are followed. Design training programmes and facilitate safety training related to the SHE programme including mitigation of risk injuries, etc.
Job Responsibilities- Manage and schedule safety contractors including type 1 and 2, environment and PSM in Home Care Site.
- Constructively partner with all business partners, contractors, and vendors to demonstrably install training programmes and initiatives which yield a reduction in workplace injuries and create a site‑wide awareness of safety initiatives.
- Responsible for meeting third‑party requirements of the building, such as Federal, State and (where applicable) local agencies.
- Schedule pre‑event meetings with general service contractors or decorators to review all safety requirements, communication planning needs and plan all aspects of a safe event.
- Facilitate training for contractors and security in safe work practices for newly hired or refresher training sessions, such as On‑Boarding, Behavioural Based Safety, PSM and environmental aspects.
- Maintain safety files, records and logs related to 3P contractors, security and PSM.
- Perform safety inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follow up to ensure measures have been abated.
- Provide oversight and quality assurance for all incident reporting data and reporting.
- Maintain the scheduling of training and conduct/participate in training sessions.
- Conduct and manage the delivery of toolbox talks.
- Assisting in the development, annual reviews and upgrading of existing safety programmes.
- Assist consultant for noise sampling and/or use of air monitors for permit‑required confined space entries.
- Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
- Take accountability for the effectiveness of the SHE management system in this area of responsibility.
- Ensure run and drive CSMS in Home Care Site.
- Ensure that the SHE policy and SHE objectives are established and are compatible with the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Ensure integration of the SHE management system requirements into the organisation’s business processes.
- Ensure that the resources needed for the SHE management system are available.
- Communicate the importance of effective SHE management and of conforming to the SHE management system requirements.
- Ensure that the SHE management system achieves its intended outcomes.
- Direct and support persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the SHE management system.
- Promote continual improvement.
- Support other relevant management roles to demonstrate leadership as it applies to their responsibility.
- Actively participate in the SHE Program and campaign.
- Minimum 3‑4 years in the same position.
- Preferable educational background: engineering, preferably from FMCG industries.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
