Develop and oversee transportation policies, procedures, and programs to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.
Manage and coordinate the transportation department's daily activities, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching of vehicles and drivers.
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to transportation, including driver qualification, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service.
Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure transportation needs are met, including coordinating with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Ensure that all transportation-related documentation, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts, are accurate and complete.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to transportation management.
Responsible to all KPIs.
Organization of inbound, outbound, handling, inventory, and delivery, personnel appointment and removal.
Coordinate with customers, be the channel and contact person, earn customer satisfaction.
Deal with and report emergency issues to management.
Other assignments given by the management.
RequirementsBachelor degree or above (Logistics engineering, vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering majors preferred).
Good skills for English listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
At least 5-year operational experience in a similar role within the auto parts company.
Diligent, conscientious, good communication, independent problem‑solving skills, and good teamwork ability.
