About the Role
We are looking for an Asset Management (Warehouse) Lead to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. This role ensures efficient inventory control, safe handling of materials, and smooth daily operations while leading a team to meet service, productivity, and accuracy standards.
What You'll Do- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, storage, and outbound distribution
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely delivery and optimal workflow
- Lead day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast workload demand, align on priorities, and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Establish and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Determine appropriate storage methods and stock locations based on product type, turnover rates, and space utilization
- Maintain accurate inventory by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies with system records
- Ensure proper use of warehouse systems to track materials movement and inventory levels
- Monitor warehouse safety and security by enforcing procedures and maintaining compliance with guidelines
- Maintain the warehouse facility and equipment, including layout planning, inspections, and coordinating repairs or replacements
- Track and report on stock usage, damages, and operational performance as needed
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery
- Supervise, coach, and support warehouse staff to achieve operational goals
- Plan staffing levels, manage work schedules, and monitor productivity (including overtime when required)
- Support hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
- Foster a positive team culture and ensure alignment with company values
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping & receiving operations
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse environment
- Valid forklift operating license
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety practices
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and handle sensitive situations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse systems
