Environment Engineer - Environment Planning Team

Reporting to the Environment Planning Team, this full-time Environment Engineer role at PT Krakatau Posco offers the opportunity to play a key part in the environmental protection initiatives of this leading steel manufacturer in Cilegon, Banten. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the company's operations adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and standards.

• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Design and oversee the implementation of environmental management systems and processes
• Monitor and report on the company's environmental performance against key metrics and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into operational decision-making
• Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and other external stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and training to employees on environmental best practices
• Stay up-to-date with evolving environmental legislation and industry standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an environmental engineering or management role, ideally within the manufacturing, Mining or heavy industry sector
• Strong technical knowledge of environmental impact assessment, monitoring, and mitigation strategies
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and project management skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship
• Proven English Skill in professional setting, written, verbal, etc
