Overview
PPIC MANAGER - PLANT CILEGON
Responsibilities- Synchronize demand (customer orders/projects) with supply chain capabilities and production capacity to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop & manage Master Production Schedules (MPS) on daily, weekly, monthly bases, balancing customer deadlines with factory capacity, manpower, and machine availability.
- Oversee raw material inventory (RM), work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods (FG) to prevent stockouts while minimizing overstock, maintaining optimal inventory turnover rates.
- Analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) to calculate raw material requirements and initiate procurement requests (PR) in coordination with purchasing team.
- Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, and project-based demand to plan long-term inventory and production needs.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PPIC performance, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and reduce waste.
- Liaise with Sales, Production, Engineering, Procurement, and QC departments to resolve bottlenecks, manage changes in demand, and address project delays.
- Generate, monitor, and present KPI and reports (production, inventory status, delivery progress) to top management.
- Ensure accuracy of data within the SAP system for production planning, inventory movements, and material usage.
- Lead and guide PPIC staff/supervisors in daily operations, setting targets, and professional development.
- 5+ years of professional experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management, ideally within a manufacturer, oil and gas industry, and shift working hours.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in related fields.
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor staff, as well as manage large teams.
- 5+ years of experience and understanding of products (OCTG Products, Pipe, Valve, Fitting).
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel), and data analysis tools.
- Strong ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and solve complex PPIC problems.
- Excellent written & verbal communications, multitasking and time management skills.
- Interpersonal skills, attention to details, problem-solving competencies, and ability to work under pressure.
