• Monitor, operate and adjust parameters on the DCS to meet target operation by following SOPs for units such as Boilers, Steam System, Water Treatment (WT), Wastewater Treatment (WWT), Cooling Water, Firefighting, Plant Air System, and Fuel Gas System.
• Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor and SSV for adjusting operation parameters to meet daily target operation.
• Address alarms, deviations and emergency conditions and take corrective action to maintain safe and reliable operations.
• Collaborate with SSV, field operators and maintenance for any activities in the field.
• Document operational data, production rates, equipment performance, and any incidents or deviations from normal operations in logbooks (Board operator check list).
• Participate in process optimization and efficiency improvement projects, suggest improvements, and implement best practices to enhance plant performance.
• Monitor CCTV for the utility area and coordinate with field operators.
• Monitor lab results and adjust parameters accordingly for each area.
• Communicate with Board Operators in other plants regarding plant operational conditions to ensure alignment of operation processes between plants.
• Arrange product movement activities safely and efficiently to ensure compliance with SOP.

• Diploma (3) in Chemical Engineering. Other relevant engineering backgrounds are welcome.
• Minimum 4 years experience as a Board Operator / DCS operator.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in chemical or petrochemical industries (experience in chlor‑alkali plant is an advantage).
• Good teamwork, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Good English proficiency, both spoken and written.

This position will be placed at Site Office Cilegon (Chandra Asri Alkali).
