• Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
• Preparing budgeting reports and conducting forecasting activities.
• Managing month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Conducting detailed risk analyses and financial forecasts.
• Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
• Organizing financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
• Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Performing and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Conducting variance analysis to understand the cause of different cost behaviors.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger, forecasting, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Proven experience as a senior accountant ideally within manufacturing environments.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
• Excellent knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
