Financial Reporting Manager

Carson Lynch has been engaged once again by one of our Cincinnati-based clients to expand their leadership team due to growth. This role will focus on Financial Reporting, while collaborating cross-functionally across the organization to achieve overall success.

• Prepare financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Oversee all SEC filings; this will include 10-K, 10-Q, and more.
• Manage all complex transactions.
• Account for research, including rollouts for policy changes as required.
• Lead all efforts that relate to statutory reporting, compliance, etc. – within the U.S. and across the globe.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to assist with journal entry prep, account reconciliations, and other cross-functional tasks.
• Take on a leadership presence for all process improvements; this will relate to ways to create efficiencies via technology and other areas.
• Oversee a team of direct reports – working consistently to grow and develop their skills.
• Audit & tax support as needed.

• Bachelor's in Accounting / Finance.
• CPA (preferred).
• 5–7+ years of experience, including time within SEC Reporting.
• Ability to manage a team.
• Dynamic communication skills, including an eagerness to work cross-functionally.
