Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to support our clients by managing day‑to‑day financial activities, assisting with accurate monthly close processes, and helping deliver clear, reliable financial reporting. This role is ideal for a bookkeeping professional who has a solid foundation, enjoys structured work, and is eager to continue developing their skills in a supportive, team‑based environment. This position offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility over time, while contributing meaningful work for a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze client financial data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and invoicing
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with maintaining the chart of accounts
- Ensure proper account classifications and coding
- Communicate with clients to answer routine financial questions and provide clarity on reports, with guidance as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial information at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of core bookkeeping processes and financial reporting
- Experience with Quick Books Online, Quick Books Desktop, Quicken, or similar accounting platforms
- Ability to read and understand financial statements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow within the role
