We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position plays an important role in preparing accurate invoices, addressing billing-related questions, and coordinating with internal teams to support efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and service while handling sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Build productive partnerships with project managers, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support smooth billing operations.
• Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on schedule by reviewing backup documentation and confirming billing details before submission.
• Respond promptly to billing questions and requests from internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
• Work closely with operations and accounting personnel to help ensure invoicing is completed correctly and within required time frames.
• Assist with month-end activities and provide support for accounts receivable tasks when needed.
• Monitor billing records and related documents to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, communicate issues to the appropriate parties, and recommend process improvements when opportunities arise.
• Safeguard confidential customer and financial information while maintaining organized and reliable records.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and helping coworkers manage workload demands as needed.
