Role MissionIDEA Administrative Coordinators provide clerical support to principals, enabling them to maximize their time through reliable, efficient administrative assistance. By prioritizing scheduling, streamlining communication, and thoroughly preparing logistics for events, the Coordinator enables principals to focus on advancing our mission of college access for all children.
What We Offer CompensationHourly rate ranging between $18.49 for 0 years of experience and $23.11.

- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in an administrative support position.
- High‑level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to follow written instructions.
- Proactive mindset with minimal direction.
- Excellent communication with staff and the public.
- Manage principal’s correspondence: answering phone calls, emails, and letters.
- Plan, prepare, and update principal’s calendar.
- Schedule events and plan logistics for meetings.
- Reconcile credit cards and prepare monthly expense reports.
- Cover front office during receptionist lunch breaks or vacancies.
- Supervise students during lunch/recess duty.
- Complete duties during school dismissal (e.g., walker escorting, bus loading).
- Call families of absent students daily; schedule meetings with leadership as needed.
- Coordinate with campus leaders and grade‑level team leaders for family communications.
- Onboard new students and families throughout the year on behalf of the principal.
- Prepare and manage employee break and supply rooms.
- Receive deliveries and enter into purchasing system for vendor payment.
