Background & Purpose of the Job eCommerce is the fastest-growing segment of the retail industry, and Unilever’s priority is winning share growth during this phase of rapid change. The Omnichannel Associate Manager, GVAD is responsible for embedding eCommerce business operations into the way we manage multiple strategic customer relationships and rapidly growing our omnichannel turnover and share. This role will accelerate Unilever’s eCommerce sales by developing, enabling, and operating omnichannel businesses Responsibilities:
The Omnichannel Associate Manager, GVAD, will collaborate with breakthrough Customer Leads, Business Managers, Sales Operations, Content Specialists, Category Management, and Shopper Marketing teams to develop and execute a coherent strategy across Grocery dotcom customers to win share and growth faster than our competitive categories.
Own Omnichannel strategy, end-to-end content, assist in the development of profitability modelling, and partner to execute our assortment and investment strategy by modality.
In partnership with the GVAD Customer Development (CD) teams, collaborate with Customer Business Managers (CBMs) to identify areas of opportunity and growth to integrate into their respective Customer Team’s strategy and execution.
Analyze key business drivers and their impact on market share, sharing accountability for turnover, category share, and perfect store online metrics with Customer Leads.
Directly manage assigned grocery customer accounts, ensuring seamless service and transition support, especially during periods of team change or backfill.
Accountable for achieving KPIs including digital shelf availability, content accuracy, online share growth, and customer satisfaction.
Strategically influence internal stakeholders and Brick and Mortar teams to further the Omni agenda and increase dCom contribution with retailers.
Own the Digital Shelf, including informing digital strategy, partnering with the content team, owning A/B testing of assets, consulting on search strategies, and conducting competitive audits.

Own the Digital shelf including informing the digital strategy, partnering with our content team, owning A/B testing of assets, consulting on search strategy, and owning competitive auditing.
You’re a commercial operator:
Develop and deliver winning digital strategies, constantly optimize, create value, and find ways to lead digital category growth with our retailers.
You’re a change maker:
You are operating in an environment filled with continuous rapid change and high complexity. You must have the flexibility to work across multiple functions – internally and externally – to build trust and gain alignment with key stakeholders to grow the business.
What You’ll Need To Succeed Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in CPG within ecommerce roles in sales/customer develop mentor business/account management roles; grocery omnichannel experience is preferred.
Customer sales experience preferred.
Working knowledge of IRI and Customer POS Data is strongly desired.
Strong data and analytical skills Ability to forecast sales, manage trade investment, and understand return on investment.
Working knowledge of ecommerce retail basics, traffic and conversion drivers, search, the consumer’s path to purchase journey, and omnichannel customer models.
