Analyst Master Data POSITION SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The North America Master Data Analyst is responsible for:
Creating and Maintaining master data elements in SAP for Customers, Finance, Materials, and Procurement Data.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Maintain Customer Master Data. This includes:
- Ship To and Bill To accounts in Ariba
- Output condition records in SAP
- Customer Hierarchy in SAP
- Organization Structures/Sales area in SAP
- Intercompany Customers in SAP
- Maintain Finance Master Data in SAP. This includes:
- Cost Element tables
- Cost Centers
- General Ledger accounts
- Bank Master data
- Fixed Asset data
- Company Codes
- Maintain Procurement Services Master Data in SAP. This includes:
- Vendor Processing (Set-Up, Maintenance, Approval)
- Vendor JSOX control
- Intercompany Vendors
- Material Processing (Setup, Maintenance, Approval)
- Info Record Processing (Setup, Maintain, Approval) for plant maintenance
- Maintain Internal Orders including related hierarchies and groupings in SAP
- Perform customer service support on SAP customer, finance, and procurement data-related information.
- Understand and apply Sun Chemical’s master data and finance processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
- Manage Withholding Processing (Maintain Tax Forms, Update/ Monitor Withholding Information) in SAP
- Successfully handle most non-routine issues, escalates to management issues that cannot be resolved
- Requires minimal supervision to manage daily activities and is able to meet published deadlines for activities
- Ensures all work is performed in accordance with quality and productivity targets
- Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
- Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of processes within area of influence
- Performs responsibilities in full compliance with Sun Chemical standards, policies, and procedures
- Overtime and holidays work may be required during peak periods
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in service or manufacturing industries with focus on customer interfacing activities and data entry.
- Advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office productivity tools
- 2 or 4 year degree in business or related field
- Accounts Receivable, Order Processing, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Organization Management experience, Procurement experience, and/or Supply Chain experience
- Exposure working with implementation and/or working with SAP or other ERP system
