Senior Project Manager​/Estimator

Who They Are

We've partnered with a fast-growing $100M Steel Construction Company that works in Structural & Miscellaneous Steel as well as PEMB. We're currently hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager and Estimator in the Dayton or Cincinnati, OH area who needs to come from a relevant industry background.

• Review construction bid documents
• Calculate the values of administration, procurement, materials, equipment, and material installation
• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings
• Follow up with general contractors to ensure bids are inclusive
• Lead, direct, and coordinate daily project management
• Set up job reports for cost analysis and help facilitate job completion
• Manage and resolve conflicts with customers
• Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage project management constraints (cost, time, scope, quality, etc.)

• Project management degree, estimating training, and/or 10+ years in the construction industry is required
• 4+ years of experience working for a steel erector
• Acute attention to detail and extensive knowledge in the steel construction trade
• Vast field knowledge with the ability to extract important information required for reporting cost progress and quality standards
• Training or experience in purchasing
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Project Management software
