Foxx Construction , the Construction Laborer plays a key role in supporting our field operations and delivering quality results on every project. This position is responsible for performing general labor tasks, assisting skilled trades, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient job site. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and committed to upholding Foxx Construction’s standards of excellence and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment across job sites
- Assist carpenters and other skilled trades in daily construction activities
- Perform general site preparation, including cleaning, grading, digging, and back filling
- Maintain job site cleanliness by removing debris and organizing materials
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely and properly
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job site equipment, signage, and safety barriers
- Follow all project plans, instructions, and directions from supervisors and foremen
- Support adherence to Foxx Construction safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members to keep projects on schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned to support field operations
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and job site safety is a plus
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and noisy environments.
