19 is searching for a dynamic and engaging meteorologist to join our First Alert Weather Team. You must possess superior forecasting and storytelling skills. We are looking for a meteorologist adept in all aspects of meteorology, including forecasting, graphics presentation, digital presentation, social media, and LIVE reporting in the field. You will be responsible for delivering accurate & compelling weather forecasts on our weekend newscasts.

• Forecast, produce, and present weather segments for weekend newscasts and First Alert digital streaming shows.
• Provide live coverage and clear, urgent communication during severe weather events.
• Fill in for other meteorologists’ shifts during the week as needed.
• Create and publish compelling content across digital, social, and streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with other meteorologists and producers to ensure continuity and accuracy in weather storytelling.
• Utilize the latest weather technology and graphics platforms to deliver engaging presentations.
• Mine social media and other sources for weather story ideas and audience engagement opportunities.
• Support breaking weather coverage, often outside of normally scheduled shifts.

• At least 2 years of experience as a broadcast meteorologist/weather anchor
• Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field
• Flexibility with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts, especially considering the nature of weather events
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
