Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Must be available to work 40‑hour work week between 8a – 9p Monday through Friday (some weekends)

SUMMARY

Responsible for providing advanced customer service support to brokers selling products via telephone or written communication.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication.
  • Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life.
  • Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day.
  • Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests.
  • Assists in broker road shows.
  • Provides reports to brokers.
  • Works on special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma and one year of related customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Previous health insurance industry experience preferred.
SKILLS
  • Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Advanced organizational, problem‑solving and PC skills required.
  • Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred.
