The Preconstruction Drafter will prepare quality representative renderings of proposed greenhouses, related equipment and support structures. Renderings will assist the Sales Team with visuals for customer consumption and the Estimating Team for scope clarity. The Drafter will create renderings for multiple projects on a continuous basis to meet proposal and estimating deadlines.

• Create photorealistic 3D renderings and visualizations of Prospiant greenhouse product lines and equipment for proposals, submittals, or fundraising.
• Collaborate with Sales, Designers and Preconstruction Management to refine renderings based on feedback.
• Assist with creating Prospiant marketing material content.
• Maintain and organize rendering assets, libraries, and templates.
• Perform basic design and drafting assignments as requested by the Preconstruction Manager.
• Participate in layouts and elevation features based on information from Sales Team documentation.
• Use available resources to provide professional and accurate documents within the established time frame.
• Commit to continuous growth and improvement of professional and personal skills.
• Monitor, minimize, and manage hours spent on all projects.
• Communicate professionally with Engineers, Sales, Preconstruction and Project Managers.
• Suggest and help implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with yearly and long-term goals.

• Assist in estimating and proposal reviews with Sales, Estimating and Pre-Construction Team to ensure alignment with renderings.
• Participate in CAD-driven material lists, estimating and takeoffs/forecasting.
• Assist in integrating automated basic rendering creation via project information data sheets from Sales.

• Degree, or current pursuit, in Architecture, Interior Design, Visualization, or related field.
• In lieu of a degree: experience drafting in Architectural firms, fabrication, or construction will be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in Design and Fabrication preferred (less experience may be considered).
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as Sketch Up, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, or similar.
• Basic animation or walkthrough experience for VR platforms.
• Experience applying standard drafting techniques to develop complete renderings sets for design and fabrication teams.
• Understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, Inventor, Bluebeam, Navisworks and Procore skills.
• Strong attention to detail, design sense, and lighting.
• Portfolio showcasing rendering and visualization work (student work accepted).
