Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 base salary + ~10% performance bonus (Total Comp: $77,000 – $88,000 annually)

About the RoleOur client, a leading multidisciplinary design firm, is seeking a Licensed Landscape Architect Project Manager to join their Cincinnati team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects across parks, recreation, urban design, and site planning while mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate brings strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and proven project management experience in landscape architecture.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, managing schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination
- Develop master plans, site designs, grading plans, planting designs, and detailed construction documents
- Oversee construction administration, including site visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination
- Manage client communications, presentations, and stakeholder meetings with professionalism and confidence
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, architecture, surveying) to deliver cohesive project outcomes
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior staff members
- Licensed Landscape Architect (Ohio license, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
- 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture, including 2+ years in a project management role
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Land FX
- Strong technical knowledge of grading, planting design, and construction detailing
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, coordinate consultants, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience in business development, including proposal writing, networking, and client cultivation
- Prior work in multidisciplinary environments, collaborating with engineers, architects, and surveyors
- A strong design sensibility with an emphasis on creative, functional, and sustainable solutions
- Familiarity with permitting and bidding processes
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience with junior team members
