Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an A  or AO  certified or eligible radiologist with fellowship-level training in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging to join our faculty. The department performs a full array of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including over 700 PET scans per year. As the only pediatric SNMMI Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence, we perform more therapies than any other pediatric center in the USA.

With a newly opened cyclotron facility adjacent to our campus, one of the top pediatric oncology programs in the country, and a strong clinical research infrastructure we are poised to make further advances in pediatric imaging and theranostics.

The preferred candidate must have experience and demonstrable skills in all aspects of nuclear medicine, including a strong interest in therapies and theranostics. Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in research and teaching are desirable. The successful candidate will join five other members of our Division of Nuclear Medicine and participate in the clinical and research activities of the division. Other responsibilities will include general pediatric imaging, including radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

Completion of a pediatric imaging fellowship is thus desirable, but the department will commit to the two years of experiential training required for A  subspecialty certification for those without a pediatric fellowship.

The Department of Radiology has:
  • Forty-five clinical faculty
  • Twelve research PhD’s
  • One of the largest fellowship programs in the country
  • We perform approximately 280,000 imaging examinations per year across multiple sites of care

  • Research/administrative time is provided to all faculty
  • Research start‑up funding is available within the Department of Radiology and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
