Hospitalist Physician

Daytime Rounding Hospitalist position just came available, be the first to apply before gone, this position will go quickly! Open to full or partime employment. This Indiana Hospitalist position is open to both Internists and Family Medicine physicians. Join a Hospitalist team consisting of 13 physicians and 4 APPs. Typical seven on and seven off schedule with days only. The doctors cover a new 218-bed hospital with a 30-bed critical care unit and open-heart program.

1.0 or 0.5 FTE available options - work full-time or part-time. $320,000 base salary for days position. $40,000 sign on bonus. $25,000 Value Based Incentives. Qualifying site for Public Student Loan Forgivness (PSLF). Block Scheduling plus another twenty one days off per year. Work only 23 weeks per year (44% of the time) Hospital newly built in 2008. EPIC in use for EMR.

Procedures are not required for hospitalists. If they want to do procedures, sometimes there are opportunities. However, they are typically performed by other services Large Referral Base. Excellent Sub-Specialty Support. Family Medicine Residents and Medical Student on site. Average patient census 15-19. Open ICU with ample Intensivist support. This physician will round, admit direction admissions and ER admissions, and discharge patients.

Will collaborate with daytime APP for admission and consults. Will respond to codes/rapids/stroke alerts The medical staff is made up of over 200 physicians, 90% of whom are board certified. Less than one hour to both Cincinnati and Indianapolis
