Position Overview

Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Lens Crafters operates as an Associate Optometrist within a Lens Crafters subleasing practice. You will provide high‑quality optometric care and service to patients in a fully furnished office with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive optometric examinations, diagnose vision problems, and prescribe corrective lenses.

• Utilize advanced digital eye examination technology (“Clarifye”) and, where available, Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System.

• Manage patient schedules using an automated online appointment book and patient recall system.

• Maintain professional autonomy and full scope of practice with agreements directly between you and the subleasing doctor.

• Collaborate with Lens Crafters optical dispensary staff to deliver integrated eye‑care services.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.

• Eligibility to practice in the State of Ohio.

• Ability to negotiate practice model, pay, and hours with subleasing doctor.

• Strong clinical skills and customer‑centric service orientation.
