Job Overview
The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (ChEE) in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Cincinnati (UC) invites candidates to apply for Term‑Adjunct (part‑time) faculty positions. Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials. Courses are taught at all levels from undergraduate to graduate (master's and doctoral).
Essential Functions- Teach or co‑teach courses, assigned on a semester‑by‑semester basis.
- Coordinate with other ChEE faculty members for alignment of coursework with the overall curriculum.
- Meet with students as needed, through office hours or other specified availability.
- Submit grades for all students enrolled in courses.
- A Master’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related STEM field is required for undergraduate class instruction.
- Graduate instruction requires a degree in Engineering or a closely related STEM field one level advanced beyond the level of the course.
- Meet the University Requirements to be credentialed by experience.
