Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a Japanese language teacher.

This role involves teaching a two-to-one Japanese class to a client in Cincinnati. The course is 60 hours in total, with 2‑hour classes held once per week on Thursdays after 6 pm, starting in January 2026.

• Current language level: both beginners
• Motivation:
  The gentleman has lived in Japan before as an ESL teacher but failed to study the language properly while there. Both enjoy anime and will be going on a trip to Japan together in July 2026.
• Special requirements: speaking priority but all four aspects of the language ultimately.
• Student’s age group: mixed (uncle and nephew).

• Native speaker of Japanese or hold a teaching degree.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Valid working visa.
• Live within 20 miles from the client’s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part‑time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
